Bid for Nordanner Mare 504

Madrina wiped her brow after the morning’s work of feeding the animals since the employee whose job it was to do so was down with a cold. She had just finished feeding the cats when Sora, a usually calm cat with a white body and blue spots, let out an unusual meow and began running in the direction towards the cherry tree groves. Suspecting something was wrong, Madrina gave chase. When the pair reached their destination, Madrina gasped. There in front of them was a beautiful mare with a chestnut splash body and tabby markings, dressed in teal and gold.
“A Nordanner?” she said surprised, “What are you doing here, beautiful?” she asked the mare as Sora weaved around the mare’s legs.
She had heard of the dragon-hunting breed before, but had never thought she would stumble upon one on her property, especially one of the rare tabby mutations.
As if in response to her question, the mare trotted over to the stable owner and nuzzled her hand.
“Oh, do you want to come with me?” She questioned once and patted the mare’s neck. The mare whinnied in response and moved to Madrina’s side. Then the trio set off for the main fields.

This is my bid for one of the Nordanner mares mass import [link] I put a lot of effort into this. It took me 4 days to do. I even stepped out of my comfort zone and drew a horse head from the front. AND IT LOOKS GOOD!! I also drew my own background (a first for me!). I thought it would look pretty with cherry blossom trees since it's spring. This is my first art auction so I hope I win! I'm so proud of myself
